Megan Horsell

Partner

Megan specialises in Wills and Estates law.

She advises her clients on all aspects of Wills and Estates including drafting wills (both simple wills and more complex wills incorporating testamentary trusts), drafting Enduring Powers of Attorney and Advanced Care Directives, applications for probate and letters of administration in the Supreme Court of South Australia and deceased estate administration.

She is especially passionate about advising her Executor clients with complex probate applications and the administration of deceased estates. She enjoys supporting her clients to fulfill their legal obligations and make decisions at difficult and stressful times.

In addition to working at DBH Lawyers, Megan is the State Representative for Wills and Estates at the College of Law where she assists with review of the College practice papers and assessment questions for Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice students.

Prior to working in the law, Megan was a registered nurse for over a decade working both interstate and overseas.

Outside of work, Megan enjoys spending time with her children and hiking.
