Following completion of her studies, Fiona was admitted to the Supreme Court of South Australia in 2016.
Fiona has developed a specialised practice in medical law claims. She has extensive experience in matters involving birth injuries (to mothers and babies), delayed diagnoses, misdiagnoses, substandard surgical technique, failure to take a proper history, failure to appropriately hand-over care and failure to provide appropriate warnings.
In addition, Fiona has extensive experience acting for clients injured in motor vehicle accident claims, and has particular expertise in matters involving complex and catastrophic injuries.
Fiona understands that every matter is unique, and believes a tailored approach to each file ensures the best outcome for her clients.
Fiona regularly attends the Australian Lawyers Alliance Medical Law Conference and the Informa Obstetric Malpractice Conference for doctors and lawyers.
In 2022, Fiona was voted by her peers as a recommended medical negligence solicitor in South Australia for Plaintiffs.
