Anita has over 15 years experience in all aspects of Family Law including children’s matters, property settlements, financial agreements, child support and surrogacy.
Anita was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor in the High Court of Australia and the Supreme Court of Tasmania in 2009 where she practiced primary In Family Law and Child Protection for nearly 10 years, both in private practice and at the Tasmanian Aboriginal Community Legal Service. Upon relocating to South Australia in 2018 and being admitted to the Supreme Court of South Australia, Anita has continued her Family Law practice with a focus on achieving the best outcomes for her client using alternative dispute
resolution methods wherever possible.
In addition to her practice at DBH Lawyers Anita has been heavily involved with the South Australian Law Reform Commission to support legislative change to benefit all South Australians including co-authoring a number of reports on areas such as Surrogacy, Powers Of Attorney, Communication Partners, Adult Safeguarding and Mental Health.
