Matt started with DBH in 2004 as a work experience student and is now one of the owners of the firm. He has great empathy for clients in difficult positions and enjoys assisting them to achieve their best possible outcome.
Matt practices in all areas of personal injury. He has represented hundreds of survivors of child sexual abuse in claims against Government, churches and other organisations. He has also been integral in the running of several class actions including the collapse of the Spin Dragon ride at the Royal Adelaide Show, the flooding of homes caused by the overflowing of the Patawalonga, Nippy’s salmonella poisoning, Anglican Church sexual abuse and DePuy hip implants.
Matt also works on substantial medical negligence claims including strokes, amputations, birth injuries and brain damage. He does all areas of motor vehicle accident claims but in particular persons who are very seriously injured.
