Our ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic and motivated solicitor who is keen to further develop their skills in family law and takes pride in helping people through challenging family matters.

What you will need to succeed

·         Able to provide accurate, timely and practical advice in all aspects of family law

·         Experience advocating and negotiating effectively for clients at mediations and family dispute resolution conferences

·         Skilful representation in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia

·         Drafting high-quality correspondence and court documents

·         Able to maintain complete client files

·         Representing the firm at industry and public events

You will expect challenging and rewarding work, meaningful training and supervision, and a supportive work environment.

Essentials for the role

·         Minimum 3 years’ post-admission experience in family law

·         Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisation skills

·         A client-centred approach to legal practice

·         A keen attention to detail and pride in your work

·         Resilience and flexibility in meeting the demands of clients and courts

Experience with complex property settlements will be an advantage.
