DBH Lawyers hosted its third Doing Business in Heels women’s networking event last night and our final one for 2015.

Guest speaker was Maria Hagias from the Central Domestic Violence Service who was most engaging and informative as she spoke about the fantastic work the newly formed Zahra Foundation is doing for women fleeing abusive relationships.

The Foundation has commenced financial literacy programmes to provide economic independence for women and guests were encouraged to bring along stationery for use in these programmes.

We also held a Silent Auction with all proceeds going to the Zahra Foundation and its support of women and children.

As the evening drew to a close we were delighted to learn that Arman Abrahimzadeh, the co-founder of the Foundation was named Young South Australian of the Year. Congratulations Arman from all the team at DBH and we wish you well at the National ceremony in Canberra on Australia Day, 2016.
