Court out if you’re a bully


SOUTH Australian schools should brace for a “wave” of lawsuits amid a string of failing anti-bullying policies, lawyers have warned.

The warning comes as an autistic student, who claimed he was burnt and assaulted by his classmates during his schooling, launches a lawsuit against Southern Vales Christian College.

In documents lodged with the District Court, an Aldinga Beach man, now 25, says on one occasion a student had repeatedly thrown a ball at him – breaking his index finger.
