Car accident victims may not qualify for compensation under new state laws

New laws came into place in South Australia on 1st July 2013 that affect insurance payouts for those injured in a car accident.

Under the new scheme, many injuries such as the loss of a finger, a back injury or even a minor brain injury won’t qualify for compensation, even if this injury prevents you from returning to your pre-accident employment. People in these circumstances would be forced to look for another job with no compensation for any loss of earnings.
