Brisbane Lions player, Michael Close, could be entitled to a compensation payout over a season-ending knee injury.
The injury occurred when Close came into contact with artificial grass at Etihad stadium.
Close would need to prove to a Court that the way the fake grass was installed at the stadium was in fact dangerous.
If Etihad management were found to be negligent, Close would be awarded compensation for any losses he has suffered.
Listen to the interview where DBH Managing Partner, Peter Humphries, explains how these types of payments work to Jars and Louie from Triple M.
