DBH campaign to stop domestic violence
DBH Lawyers is a strong advocate in the campaign to stop domestic violence and was proud to support the White Ribbon Dinner, held on Friday July 31st.
The evening was designed to equip individuals with the information and confidence to stand up against violence against women. Featuring Rosie Batty (Australian of the Year 2015) as guest speaker, the special event also held a panel discussion with the experts, including Nat Cook, founder of the Sammy D Foundation.
One of our specialist DBH Family Lawyers, Melissa Shorter, also had the opportunity to speak to Rosie Batty and the pair shared views on how to best help women feel safe and secure as they flee high risk situations.
Over 600 people attended the dinner and discussion. DBH Lawyers would like to congratulate Adelaide to Outback GP Training Program (AOGP) on a very informative and inspiring event that we were proud to be a part of.
