John joined Duncan Basheer Hannon in July 2008. He commenced legal practice in 1965 with Max Basheer and since that time has practised as a commercial lawyer specialising at various times in mining, taxation, corporations law (including public company capital raisings), finance and insolvency. His current practice revolves around corporate/commercial advice to the wine industry and sporting organisations, in the latter case specialising in corporate structure and governance. John is currently the solicitor for the South Australian National Football League and the Adelaide Crows.
